The Company “Ori di Venezia”, for over twenty years is the world leader in the production of glass beads from Murano, is promoting and organizing a PREMIUM FASHION entirely dedicated to Italian and foreign students residing in Italy, enrolled in public schools and private Academies and Fashion University. The competition, intentionally free, aims to promote and support creativity and talent of the future promises of fashion, enhancing the arts of glass and Fashion and outcomes of a process of design and construction that aims to create true works of art to wear, symbols of beauty and elegance.
The competition is for students Italians or foreign resident in Italy, enrolled in public or private institutes, academies and universities of Fashion who are under 25 years of age to 31.12.2013 . It’s possible to enter to the competition individually, groups are excluded. The prize includes a preliminary preselection in which it asks the candidate to design a piece of clothing which is provided for the use of glass beads produced from Company “Ori di Venezia”. Twenty candidates will be selected by a Commission that consists of six fashion experts. The selected works will be presented in Venice, on the occasion of an exhibition to be held at the Prince Hotel in June 2014.
On this occasion, in addition to the official presentation of the catalog, will be awarded the following prizes:
– PRIZE OF THE JURY: Award 1300€
– SPECIAL AWARD BEST DESIGN PROJECT: A Software License Kaledo Style, Design Solution and a training course at the branch Lectra Italy, Milan
– INNOVATION AWARD: Living in Venice for two people, including a visit to a Murano glass shop
– CRITICS AWARD: Jewelry Sets Glass and gold company Ori di Venezia.
